Carolina Echeverria is a Chilean artist who arrived in Montréal in 1986 to complete her Masters Degree in Visual Arts—and never left. In 1989, she opened her own art school and studio and became one of the most acclaimed artists in North American art galleries.
Her anthropological and mythological approach challenges social norms around such subjects as environment, feminism, street art, transculturalism, and immigration.
