NATHALIE PROVENCHER: "INTROSPECTION"
Nathalie Provencher’s ability to paint scenes from beyond reality is seductive and enigmatic. They seem magical and mysterious. With their blue skies and warm deserts, her paintings seem to connect us to a world of conquest and traveling.
Her characters are silhouettes leaving, or arriving from far away, accompanied by the movement of a foreign and surrealist dance. The curiosity and energy we feel in front of her paintings fill our hearts with satisfaction and with love for art.
"Balancing Realism and Impressionism": Michel Mailhot
We are proud to present the works of Michel Mailhot, a respectfully established French-Canadian artist.
Through Mr. Mailhot's works we can appreciate the personality of an artist who is always in search of accuracy and light and who with a passionate heart has spent the last thirty years developing a magnificent warm palette.
Among his works we can find portraits, still life and landscapes. His Realist portraits describe the beauty of ordinary people while they perform the daily chores of life. His remarkable still life paintings stand up like symbols of the human's belief in eternity. His landscapes, on the other hand, show traits of Impressionism, the effects of light are intensified and
the brush strokes become loose.
